Admission to all the diploma courses at this Institute made by centrally through Haryana State Technical Education Society Counselling on the merit of Qualifying Exam i.e. 10th class. After that conducting Online offcampus counselling by NIC at the website http://www.tehadmissions.gov.in

Eligibility
Passed 10th Std/ SSC Examination.

Basis of Admissions
Admission in Diploma Engg. Course shall be made on the basis of merit of Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination.

For Lateral Entry
ADMISSION IN DIPLOMA ENGG. – LATERAL ENTRY
[Two Years Duration - Semester Based Course]

Eligibility
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship (as per Table given below).

(Note: The Affiliating Body will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)
OR
10 + (2 years ITI) shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology as per compatability.
OR
NSQF level 4 in any course will be eligible for consideration in various Diploma Engineering courses as per compatability.
